In the past I used to “Play” at restoring Classic cars.

Nowadays being and “Old Fart” means my interest climbing under and over Cars has gone.

I have now stuff that I no longer require.

While some of this stuff was used for Classic Cars some of them would still be useful on modern day vehicles.

These Spanners are essential for the replacement and or adjustment of rear wheel bearings on most Triumph cars with independent rear suspension.

They have been plasma cut from 9mm steel. The other ends have the ability to bolt onto the Differential or Universal Joint to aid repair and adjustment.

Gunson G4074 Colortune 14mm Kit.

The Colortune plug kit is a simple and effective way to tune petrol and LPG 2 and 4 stroke engines. It is easy to use and works on the principle that the combustion flame burns a particular colour depending on the fuel mix.

The Colortune is a spark plug with a glass insulator viewing window so the flame is visible.

The colour of the flame inside the cylinder shows the state of the air fuel ratio - yellow indicates a rich mixture, blueish-white a weak mixture and a Bunsen blue flame a balanced mixture.

By adjusting the mixture screw to get the correct flame colour the engine can be tuned for optimal fuel economy and performance.

The kit also includes a viewscope with adjustable mirror so that the flame can be seen where engine access is restricted. Fits most petrol engines with additional adaptors available for vehicles with other sizes of spark plug.

Gunson G4053 Carbalancer

The easy and accurate way to set up multiple carburetors.

This unit simply measures the air flow into each individual carburetor and displays the result on an easy to read scale.

All you have to do is adjust the throttle or balancing screw on each carb. so that the air-flow is equal. Calibrates in seconds and synchronizes the air throttles in moments.

Suitable for cars and motorcycles. Purchased for Triumph 2.5 petrol injection and worked well.

Gunson G4101 Hi-Gauge Plus Compression Tester.
